How Do We Classify Our General Partners?

Similar to how we work with a wide range of property types that range in risk profile, we work with a wide range of General Partners. They can be classified in a few different ways, but at addy we bucket them based on the following criteria:

GP Types - OG

These General Partners have 10+ years of experience and/or have owned and operated real estate in excess of $80M+ in asset value. These partners are seasoned in the industry and have a track record of successfully managing large-scale real estate projects.

These General Partners have 7+ years of experience and have owned and/or operated real estate in excess of $30M+ in asset value. These partners are generally seasoned in the industry and have a track record of successfully managing small to mid-sized real estate projects.

GP Types - Coming Up

These General Partners are new and this may be their first time running a project or have not had any come to completion yet. In many cases, they have experience in a senior-level role in real estate or similar but have recently moved into the General Partner role.
