My professional journey has been diverse with various roles from resort manager, leasing manager, project manager, commercial real estate broker, stockbroker and lately, founder of a propTech startup. For almost a decade, I was a resort manager in the Caribbean. I managed a diverse portfolio of 25 offshore properties and yachts devoted to short term rentals. Upon my move to Montreal, I joined Colliers International as a commercial real estate broker. My associate and I were focused on office leasing and have serviced companies such as Unicef and Stable Capital to name just a few. We were also part of the first Landlord Representation team in the province of Quebec. Post to the 2008 subprime crash, I focused my practice on selling distressed assets in the USA to fund managers and was soon after recruited by BMO Nesbitt Burn to join as an investment advisor.

In my last corporate role as a business consultant at Sun Life Financial, my team and I built an entirely new department and managed everything from start to finish. Although my title was “client activation consultant”, the nature of the role was geared towards being a”project manager”. We concentrated on defining a time-pacing servicing strategy, optimizing the sales processes, bridging sales targets to marketing initiatives, assisting on the Salesforce integration and ultimately, structuring the new department. This entrepreneurial consulting role was incredibly challenging and rewarding. Today, the department “Client Activation” is successfully operating with viral adoption across all regions and overall sales surpassing $250M. In July 2017, I received the Performance Award for this project and for generating regional record sales.

More recently, I founded the Living|in Company, a propTech startup with a mission to solve the logistics around the residential rental real estate for all stakeholders. I saw an opportunity to bring a new and innovative solution to the Montreal rental market: Living|in Open House Weekends, which would ultimately expand globally. As employee zero, I focused on building the website, acquiring clients, raising funds, branding, advertising and managing open houses. The quick success of Living|in allowed the company to be admitted to a Smart City incubator Innocité/Centech (a startup Bootcamp in Montreal) as well as at Y Combinator Startup School (which is the incubator Airbnb, Uber and DropBox graduated from). To further validate Living|in’s business model, I have spent significant time in Silicon Valley to create strategic partnerships, meet entrepreneurs, developers, venture capitalists, and top-tier influencers.

My diverse background provides me with the toolkit necessary to lead, think, manage and deliver. I enjoy working in collaborative and fast-paced environments, my passion is for creating futures that do not exist. De plus, je suis parfaitement bilingue.
