How do you make money?

You can make money in 2 ways:

  1. Sale of the Property: When the property is sold, any appreciation is paid back to investors in addition to their investment principal.
  2. Rental Income: When tenants pay rent, additional cash flow can be passed back to investors in the form of a distribution.

What is real estate crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding allows multiple individuals to invest in property at a price point they are comfortable with and, at the same time, reduce the risk that comes with any investment since the risk is spread across the “crowd”.

Are there fees?

addy does not charge any fees. There are no transaction fees, no property acquisition fees, no withdrawal fees, no promotion fees, no lifts on the property of any kind, nothing.

Instead, addy offers an annual membership plan.

Why is there a $1,500 investment maximum per property?

We want to enable as many people as possible to invest in our properties. This is why we cap the maximum investment amount at $1,500. Without the maximum, it would be possible for a few people to take down the entire allotment, leaving nothing for everyone else. Investment opportunities for people with large amounts of money already exist and we’re not in the business of helping the rich get richer. If one of our members wants to invest more than $1,500, they can invest in multiple properties.
